Guidelines for Patients and Bystanders

// VISITING TIME //

7:00 am - 8:30 pm / 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm / 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Intensive Care Unit (only one visitor allowed) : 11:00 am

No visitors will be allowed to any rooms or wards before or after the above mentioned visiting hours.

1. Visitors are requested to spend the least time possible with patients and kindly allow them to rest.

2. Visitors kindly refrain from sharing food with patients. Doing so may get you exposed to bacteria from the hospital environment.

3. Kindly do not entertain people visiting patients just out of courtesy

All well-wishers of the patients are requested to cooperate with the hospital visiting hours. Never take children to hospital for visiting patients.

 

 


// CANTEEN WORKING HOURS //

Breakfast / From 6.00 am to 10.30 am

Lunch / From 12.00 pm to 2.30 pm

Evening Tea / From 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Dinner / From 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm

 

 


// PRAYER AND RITUALS //

1. Prayer (Holy mass) : 6.00am everyday am.

2. Facilities for performing confession, holy mass and patient salving are open 24 hours. People in need of holy ritual may contact the nursing station.

 


// GENERAL RULES //

1 // Cooperate with us to keep the hospital and premises clean.

2 // Only one bystander is enough with the patient when the doctor comes to visit during patient rounds (Remaining are requested to leave the room for making the consultation easy).

3 // If you are eligible for any type of insurance privileges, kindly submit documents proving identity and policy copy on information desk within 24 hours of admitting.

4 // If any amendments are required in the name, address or age entered in hospital documents, kindly contact the medical records incharge with necessary documents validating the changes.

5 // Pharmacy, laboratory, ICU and information desk facilities are available 24 hours.

6 // Doctor's permission is required for accommodating more than one bystander along with the patients. Charges will be applicable for additional bystanders.

7 // Patients are supposed to keep the ID band issued till the time of discharge.

8 // Advance amount for services such as admissions and operation must be paid on time and the receipts must be kept safe.

9 // Penalty will be incurred for washing clothes inside wards and rooms.

10 // If any devices inside the room/ward is not functioning properly immediately inform the ward-in-charge.

11 // Return the bystander pass issued during patient admission back at the cash counter on patient discharge. Else penalty will be charged.

 


// DURING DISCHARGE ////

1. At least 3 hours is required for completing formalities after the doctor discharge the patient. Kindly contact the head nurse to get the approximate discharge amount.

2. Contact the cash counter for discharge bill. Please make sure to clear all the bills before the patient leave.

3. Contact the Public Relations Officer for availing ambulance and taxi facilities.

+

4. Our staffs are not interested in any kind of gifts other than kind words and a warm smile.
